Just wondering why the Volts gauge wasn’t reading anything when it was lit up
I totally disagree with people that do this you cut down on the value of the vehicle! Keeping it original is far better!
That's just fine! There are plenty of trucks our there for you to build it the way you prefer!
Pretty nice paint booth I like the way you built it. I believe it should do you a very good job. I bought mine but it’s the same sign as the ones you can buy God bless you.
I actually liked the Before, but I'm also very basic.
Hows it going without a proportioning valve.
Beautiful ride hombre
Hey The 2 black wires in tha harness where they and are they ground wires to bolt anywhere on the chassis
Rear seal holding?
Great job.
Thanks & how is everything grounded I just got the same harness you have in the video burn up my original cab harness & I'm a diy-er Doing a LS swap I also have the Dakota dash & Terminator X max tht I'm runnin
I just traded my Jeep straight across for this car, I love I!
Thank you for your effort in making and posting this video. I'm just giving you my opinion. For guys like me I find it so much more helpful and a clearer explanation and easier for me and guys like me to follow if when filming don't just give an explanation of what you are doing but next time try like some other DIY videos are done by filming the exact process step by step while you are doing it. That eliminates any confusion on someone's interpretation of your explanation. Again thanks for your effort in making this video to help people out.
Hi there Jake, we picked up a cab in chassis, loadbed rusted bad, but overall ok, thinking ofcrestoring, who you use for parts?
Shipping is not "free", it's included in the price of the parts
You are so hot.
Definitely well lit. 👍
I just hope it all works well! Only one way to find out! lol
Look at you Jake, I remember when you were prepping for your first bodybuilding comp back in 2016-17 and I was helping you choosing trunks colour and you were working in law enforcement, now look at you!!! You look like a completely different person, in the best way possible mate, one thing remains the same, your love for cars and passion for what you do! Feel proud of big bro! 😊🎉❤
Just found your video while I was reserching this. Ignore all the idiots. Most probably don't even have a truck. I prefer the glossy look anyway over the satin finish. I am going to do this exact thing to my own truck. Thanks for all the info, and your truck looks amazing. I'm not a Ford guy, but I'd drive it.
My favorite year and body style of Mustang. I would redo in Ford Caspian Blue (Navy blue) and install the optional valance chrome trim.
01mustang gt conv. unmolested. I like all mustangs. My next one will be a 05 to 09 gt hardtop manual.
its a 5 channel amp, cant you install additional 3x5 spkrs in the orginal spots in Ford doors? i will be getting a ford claasic truck and may consider something like this especially if i could get my phone to bluetooth Sirius Xm to the stereo. then cuz there is no longer any stock stereo , everyone would wonder where the hell the music is coming from, lol
My truck has EVERY SINGLE issue you’ve stated in this video
What’s the cure for paint blisters/zits bubbles? 65 Corvette bubbles at seams. We got the old paint off with a razor blade. 6-8 hours. Going to use paint remover for nooks and crannies.
I find it much safer to hand sand everything on fiberglass. Use a DA to get you close, but then hand sand. Chemical stripped can absorb into the fiberglass and takes way too long to dry.
Also, scraping works as well! As far as bubbles in the paint, several things can cause that. Dirt in the paint, or a chemical reaction are the most common.
Fucking DOCTOR!
Hello Jake. I'm building the same truck except mine is a 1966. I have the same QA1 kit. For the rear. I have a 2011 Vic. I have so many questions about the rear axles. I want disc brakes and this is my first build I'm so lost 😂. I like your videos
How Tall is this guy? Maybe the seat wasnt all the way back but he seemed to barely fit in their and if its standard that is gonna be hard to shift. Im looking at a similar truck but only 5ft8ish so hopefully hes over sixfeeet
Can you show a little more of what you are doing for the paint booth? I'd watch an entire video on a diy paint both. Great video as usual!
Thanks for the feedback! I will be uploading a detailed video in the next week or two!
@@JakeHarrington awesome. I'm not getting notifications for some reason, but I'll be on the lookout!
I just uploaded a video going over the paint booth! Just FYI!
@@JakeHarrington thanks man.
pointe don t fit good ...just too tick
You're over here cutting up a whole car.... and I took off my fenders and now I cant get them to line up again......
I've been practicing a few years 😆 🤣
I learned to wire/stiff plastic brush all the dirt off of around the joint where valley cover and cylinder head meet so stuff doesnt get put into the oil and coolant areas when head is removed. Vacuum it after brushing
Working on new rotors, calipers, pads bearings, etc. it’s good to see it in action. Thanks
Dude! Thanks for posting this! I just installed it in my 57 VW bug and it's perfect!!
What size speakers did you install and how many?
"Hi, can you please tell me the wheel size and offset for the front and rear of the F100 swap?"
I have a cutlass 442 1969 Where would I start looking for all the conversion parts I have 4 drum brakes that need replacing .
Tirá esa porquería a la mierda!!!
Could you please clarify the wheel offset that you've chosen?
What front axles do you have on it? Doesn't not look like the original axle and wheels. I had one that I had to replace the kingpins every couple years. They would just tighten up and make it impossible to steer. Also I know I didn't have a strut for smooth ride on it.
As to the unlock and lock being reversed for you it also is based on which way your actuator is pointing up or down.
Nice!!!!! I can't wait to get my '89 Dodge Ram finished!!!
Great video. I've used this on two F150s, and I was amazed at how easy it was to apply. It turned out great. If I can do it, anyone can.
Did you find a tailgate for your truck? I have the same one and I’m having a hard time finding one.
How did you address the areas between the bed and the cab? Just reach as far as you can?
NUTS
Will this last as long as a sprayed clear coat ?
Good question! It really depends on how thick you build it. Clear coat is normally sprayed in several quotes, so I'd say put at least two coats of this on. I've had mine outside in harsh, cold weather, and blistering heat... I haven't seen any peeling or fading at all!
@@JakeHarrington great thanks
I do this already
It's the best way! 😆
Needs to be faster
I agree! 🤣 I'll see what I can do
Gorgeous! Getting ready to paint my 67 El Camino in the same Marina Blue. Can you share what base coat you used please. I'm having a tough time deciding who to go with. Thanks!
thank you for the video, i ordered one of these and it came with "no directions". i've decided to connect the oil pressure to the spot where the factory oil pressure sensor is next to the distributor (1977 dodge b100) because with the dog house off everything is right there. again, thanks for the video
Would a 110 welder be good enough to weld panels
Looking and sounding AWSOME! Seems to sound like it needs a little more tweaking to not bog! Maybe it was my ears! Sweet truck I have decided to keep my 431 stroker with 373 posi gears and my C-6. It's all original except for the engine and trans mods and it's a 250 truck! Drive it everywhere and have loved it for so many years. My 69 Crew cab May be a different story.nice to happen across your Channel and Say congrats! My Harley is taking my interest now that spring has sprung. Too many toys. Ot enough days! Regards
